Since 1964, we have provided further opportunity for badminton players within Berkshire.
About BCBA
The Berkshire County Badminton Association was established in 1964. The county formed to provide further opportunity for badminton players within the county. Robert Reed (Bob) BCBA’s current President has been around since the first committee formed in 1964. Bob became Head Coach in 1985 and along with many other committed long standing committee members considerably developed badminton throughout Berkshire.
BCBA have supported and set up many junior clubs, Berkshire Junior Badminton Association (BJBA) and its club and performance centre, senior clubs, and adult districts that are still operating today. Berkshire now has nearly 20 junior clubs and/or academies, and over 40 senior senior clubs who participate in Local Leagues.
BCBA runs 3 seniors teams that take part in the Senior County Championships.
